Are you offended at something you read here?

If you are offended by anything you read here, I apologize. It will be impossible to keep from offending everyone in the world, as you may imagine.

If you think about it, a site like this would not do any good at all if I took the trouble to try to keep from offending anyone.

So I am not even going to try.

I do not claim to have a monopoly on the Truth. I am not perfect.

I want to know if you get a second chance after you die

    Sandra,
Thanks for the great question. There is no need for a second chance, because salvation is not something you “do” or “earn” — you cannot be good enough to get to Heaven. God knows that, so He gave us a free gift. All you have to do is accept Salvation like a child accepting a Christmas present. Smile, hold your your hands and say thank you.
Repent (reject your old sinful ways turn away from them as best you can – God will help with the rest) Ask Jesus to be your Lord, and get baptized as quickly as possible to help you hold on to it.
If you believe that Jesus is who He said He is, you already have eternal life. Salvation sets you apart from the world.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16 KJV)

As far as deathbed conversions, I have heard from a source that I am confident in, that it is possible — your heartbeat stopping is not the ultimate end.
But don’t wait until your deathbed because this life can be gone without warning. And look at all the time you will have wasted… The life of an unbeliever is empty. They try to fill it with worldly things but worldly things leave you empty. Money, sex, alcohol, drugs, food… there are millions of stories. None of these things bring happiness. They were not designed to bring happiness, and an excess of anything just brings you down. The suicide rate among people who have the money to buy anything they want is just as high as among poor people. Perhaps higher.
I will write more, later, and will email a link to the email address that you signed up with.
    God bless and thanks again.
