If one believes his god says it is the right thing to do, then it’s ok in his eyes.
I know this is rather simplistic, but that’s where the christian’s battle begins. To proclaim our God (the One of the bible) would never agree to that.
Religion of peace?? hardly if they believe only violence will bring about conformance.
