However, it is pretty clear by the fact that he is to be thrown into the lake of fire alive, leads me to believe this is a special person or group who is especially wicked. (Revelation 19:20) I also believe the mark of the beast is most likely to be taken literally - God seals His saints in Revelation - and I do not get the impression that <em>God's</em> seal is a physical mark. But the fact that people who take the 666 mark will develop horrible sores makes it a pretty sure bet that the mark of the beast is a physical mark. Which would be the ultimate of blaspheme of the Holy Spirit of God. To believe is to follow. If one does not follow the teachings of Lord in their ways or thoughts, are they "marked"? Or if one does not follow the teachings of the Christ by their actions are they "marked" with the number of man and not the mark of God? Is it worth the risk? Does anyone deny that the antichrist are in control of all of the governing affairs of the world. Keep waiting to see satan and you will. Await and be prepared for the return of the real Christ.
