<description>When we go through abuse of any kind, live in a dysfunctional environment we become sick ourselves. We develop codependent behaviors which make our lives even more chaotic. Our behavior becomes addictive. We do not know how to cope with stress or any kind of problems. We become depressed. The longer it goes on the sicker we get. But we can be healed through Jesus Christ our Lord.

A lot has happened since I wrote Alcoholics and Co-Dependents and I have gone through dark valleys and depression but I have drawn closer and closer to God. He has seen me through it all. He has never forsaken me, he has been my refuge through the storms and with His help and guidance I have continued to work the recovery program. I have become stronger and have learned how to let go and give it to him. What a wonderful comfort it is to know He is always there. Believe me. “The darker the Valley The Brighter He Shines.”
I hope that when people read this it will help them to recognize things about their own lives and give them hope and make them see that with God there is healing.
